The mold adopts a composite structural design featuring an “integral cavity plus split inserts.” Combined with Mold Flow Analysis simulation, this design performs multi-field coupled analysis covering filling, packing, and cooling processes. As a result, the warpage of the large-sized housing is controlled within 0.5 mm/m, fully meeting the aerodynamic performance requirements of the blower as well as the assembly clearance specifications.
Process focus:
Wear resistance and assembly-fit technology: To address the erosive wear of molds caused by glass-fiber-reinforced materials, the cavity surface undergoes a composite treatment of “nitriding + PVD coating,” extending the mold’s service life to 1 million cycles.
Production Highlights:
Precision molding and dynamic balancing optimization technology for impellers—innovatively employs a dual-control approach combining “electrode compensation + cavity pre-balancing”—and uses finite element analysis to simulate the stress distribution after impeller formation. Fiberglass wear protection and long-life design: To address the erosive characteristics of fiberglass-reinforced materials, replaceable ultra-hard steel inserts are used in areas of the mold cavity prone to wear, such as the gate and the root of the impeller blades.
